Our CSR commitments: building a responsible and sustainable printing company
As a member of the ImpriFrance network, HPC-ADLIS is committed to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Our CSR commitments are based on several strategic pillars aimed at improving our environmental, social, and societal performance. Our goal? To develop a sustainable activity that respects our stakeholders and the planet.
Today, the printing industry is evolving by fully integrating environmental challenges. It is reinventing itself through the use of FSC® and PEFC certified papers. Moreover, environmentally friendly inks and smart management of resources and waste reinforce this commitment. Additionally, material recycling, energy control, and eco-design of products are at the heart of our practices to reduce ecological impact.
Choosing more responsible printing solutions means supporting this transformation toward a more sustainable future, where quality and respect for the planet go hand in hand.

Raising employee awareness of eco-friendly practices
Given today’s environmental challenges, adopting ecological habits daily, at home and at work, is essential. Companies play a key role in this ecological transition. Every employee can contribute by turning habits into genuine eco-actions. Raising team awareness and implementing concrete actions are essential to enabling companies and stakeholders to become engaged actors for a more environmentally friendly future.
At HPC-ADLIS, we involve our teams in our environmental approach through various initiatives:
- Creating a welcome booklet or handbook, allowing employees to familiarize themselves with the organization, company culture, and established procedures.
- Regular signage and training on daily eco-friendly actions, such as putting machines on standby, turning off lights in unused areas, regulating heating, and sorting and recycling waste.
- Awareness-raising on ecological challenges, including objectives to reduce environmental impacts such as energy consumption and waste.
Eco-actions have a societal impact, helping to move toward a more sustainable and responsible economic model.
Certified Imprim’Vert® since 2009, we guarantee:
-
Responsible management of hazardous waste.
-
Safe storage of hazardous liquids.
-
No use of CMR products (carcinogenic, mutagenic, or toxic for reproduction).
-
Environmental awareness for our employees and clients.
-
Monitoring of our site’s energy consumption.
At HPC-ADLIS, we believe that every action counts in building a more sustainable future. We continue our efforts to reduce our environmental footprint and guide our clients toward more responsible printing.
CSR commitments for a positive social impact
Acting for the well-being of our employees
In CSR, the social dimension plays a key role in ensuring fair and respectful working conditions. This approach not only strengthens employee engagement but also fosters an inclusive and sustainable corporate culture.
We pay particular attention to the well-being of our teams, implementing social policies focused on equity, safety, and professional development.
Commitment to fair and ethical working conditions
-
Implementing a fair and equitable compensation policy, ensuring each employee is rewarded according to skills and commitment.
-
Preventing discrimination and fostering a respectful work environment where diversity is valued.

Creating a supportive work environment to reduce absenteeism and meet employees’ well-being expectations.
-
Encouraging versatility to allow employees to develop new skills and grow professionally.
-
Promoting inclusion by fostering a respectful work environment and collaborating with initiatives such as prison workshops to support social and professional reintegration.
Ensuring employee safety and health
-
Regular training on safe work practices.
-
Implementing rigorous safety protocols to prevent workplace accidents.
-
Providing ergonomic work equipment.
-
Ensuring healthy and safe working conditions by selecting products and equipment respectful of employee health.
Supporting professional development within our CSR commitments
-
Developing skills to enhance engagement, performance, and innovation.
-
Retaining employees by sharing know-how and fostering a sense of belonging.
Societal responsibility within our CSR commitments
Acting locally for our ecosystem
At our printing facility in Templemars, near Lille, Societal Responsibility is essential. It reflects our commitment to our Region. We actively invest in the economic and social development of our local community.
Territorial responsibility at the heart of Hauts-de-France
We strive to contribute to the economic, social, and environmental development of local communities. We are proud regional actors committed to our Territory.
-
Choosing partners based on transparent criteria.
-
Ensuring 100% French production.
-
Collaborating with local suppliers and partners to stimulate the local economy.
-
Favoring short supply chains to reduce our carbon footprint and promote responsible consumption.
Creating beneficial synergies for all stakeholders
Local development is a fundamental pillar of our CSR. We proudly support local initiatives, such as the Templemars Polar Book Fair, which stimulates community engagement, supports sustainable regional development, enhances collective well-being, and strengthens social ties.
Welcoming the public and raising youth awareness
We open our doors to young people on dedicated days to showcase our professions, highlight printed products, and promote the transmission of industrial know-how.
We also regularly host communication and publishing students, offering workshops and exchanges on graphic production, CSR, and communication topics.
Protecting bees and supporting training for young people with disabilities
Concerned with environmental preservation, we support the association Donne-moi des ailes, sponsoring beehives and assisting beekeepers.
Bees, essential for biodiversity and food production, are declining due to pollution and habitat loss. The association supports apiculture vocations, finances hive acquisition, and promotes honey marketing. Our hives are located at Richard Cœur de Miel in Montboillon, Haute-Saône.
Additionally, the association collaborates with Nos Enfants d’Ailleurs, supporting families affected by autism. An inclusive project enabled young people aged 16–20 from DAME Grand Besançon (Fondation Pluriel) to build wooden hive frames over five weeks.
We are proud to contribute to bee preservation and the professional integration of young people with disabilities.
Our CSR commitment to sustainable procurement
Treating our suppliers as we treat our clients
Committed to responsible purchasing, we hold our suppliers to the same standards as our clients. As signatories of ImpriFrance’s Charter of Excellence, we adopt strict criteria when selecting partners, including:
-
Respecting environmental standards: ensuring suppliers follow eco-friendly practices. This therefore contributes to collectively reducing our environmental footprint.
-
Fair working conditions: preferring suppliers who uphold human rights and safety standards.
-
Ethical business practices: selecting partners who act with transparency and integrity.
These choices ensure our partners share our core values, creating a responsible supply chain aligned with social, environmental, and economic commitments.
Favoring short supply chains and local partnerships
To reduce our carbon footprint and support the local economy, we source within 100 km of our site. This approach supports regional employment, French know-how, and reduces transport distances, directly lowering CO₂ emissions.
We also maintain fair commercial relations, respecting contractual commitments and payment terms, and collaborate to improve collective performance. Imprifrance-referenced partners sign a charter ensuring compliance with European and international labor, governance, environmental, and safety standards.
ClimateCalc: a tool to measure and act on our carbon footprint
We use ClimateCalc, a tool dedicated to the graphic industry, to calculate the carbon footprint of our printing activities. It identifies primary greenhouse gas sources, allowing targeted reduction strategies.
ClimateCalc guides us in reducing emissions from our activities and our suppliers, while raising awareness among our teams and clients about environmentally friendly practices.
Continuous improvement and building a sustainable future
Regularly measuring our carbon footprint fosters a culture of continuous improvement in our company. Each result is an opportunity to reassess and optimize processes, achieving increasingly ambitious reduction targets.
By combining advanced tools like ClimateCalc with our longstanding CSR commitment, we are building a company firmly oriented toward a sustainable future.
Our CSR approach and partnership with ImpriFrance demonstrate concrete and innovative engagement in sustainable development. We are proud to actively contribute to transforming our industry toward greater social and environmental responsibility.
Transport: our CSR commitment to carbon neutrality
Achieving carbon neutrality is essential to combating climate change. This involves offsetting CO₂ emissions generated by our activities. We support projects that absorb or reduce greenhouse gases (GHG). For transport, this means rethinking transport modes and adopting more sustainable solutions.
We collaborate with responsible logistics partners such as La Poste and DPDgroup Chronopost. In 2024, 100% of our shipments were offset, neutralizing 30,000 kg of CO₂ for a total of 65,000 parcels.
La Poste and DPDgroup Chronopost are committed to sustainable transport and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. For over 20 years, they have pursued an ambitious energy transition to lower their environmental impact.
